Quotes of the week

"The principle is competing against yourself. It's about self-improvement, about being better than you were the day before." Steve Young, Young was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005, the first left-handed quarterback to be so honored. He holds the NFL record for highest career passer rating and won six NFL passing titles.

"I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."  Micahel Jordan, Former NBA Player

"No one has ever drowned in sweat."
Lou Holtz, Former NFL and College Football Coach

Message From Coach Boise:
Just wanted to give you all a quick 'shout out' and say thank you for your efforts.  We have a lot of work to do, but you are all starting to do the work to become a Championship Program.

For JV Players please consider the Varsity's qualifying for the Provincial Playoffs as an extension of your season ... and most importantly the beginning of the 2012 season.  Several of you will be expected to contribute significantly to the Varsity Team.  Understand how huge this is for us ... to be able to already be working on our 2012 Team while helping the Varsity win a Tier 2 Provincial Championship.  All of your are welcome to join and remain on the team and in practice.

Look forward to seeing you all everyday for practice . Come ready to work and LEARN.  Prep for a British Columbia Tier 2 Championship will begin intensely on Tuesday's practice.  DO NOT MISS ANY PRACTICES THIS WEEK.
